SMS Consent

FirstInQ™ supports barbershops with customer queue messages. Transactional SMS queue update opt-in is checked by default on the check-in page.

Transactional Queue SMS

Customers may receive SMS queue updates when they leave the queue SMS opt-in selected during check-in at a participating barbershop. This option is checked by default on the check-in page. These messages may include confirmation that the customer joined the queue, estimated wait information, queue position updates, and notices that the customer should return for service.

Email Marketing Consent

Email marketing offers are also optional and use a separate unchecked checkbox that is disabled by default. Email marketing consent is independent from transactional SMS consent. FirstInQ™ does not send marketing or promotional SMS.

Opt-Out and Help

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by shop activity for transactional queue updates. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help.

Consent Records

FirstInQ™ records check-in messaging status and marketing consent choices so that transactional queue SMS notifications and email marketing can be managed as separate permissions.
